I am going to guess halfway between the left and right edges.

:-)

as for up and down, probably closer to the bottom. But not by much, and really, if you are close, it'll be fine. Worst case, a little hard to rotate.

I'd say halfway up the firewall.

Is this your first day on the internet, sir?
Honestly...

Google "Cutlass on a rotisserie" and this pops up

along with dozens of other images.

Why we gotta do basic search work for your project?

I think you are making a big deal out of a simple task. Attach the rotisserie. Somewhere near the center. If it's so far off you can't rotate it, try a new position.

oy vey.

I for one think it's better to ask once too many.

Never used a rotisserie myself, though.

your wright

like wise Seff, been to a lot of G M and Ford classes and they always say the only dumb question is the one not asked. and the only people that think a question is dumb is the ones that think they know it all.

True. I can understand that Octania is tired of people asking simple questions, but I find that a lot of times you don't get all the details until you discuss your own problem with someone who knows.

Well, crikey, it's like asking folks where to buy gas.
Yeah, that one link which was handy to grab shows a car being rotated. From that image you can surmise more or less where to put the pivot. MANY other links popped up with a basic Google search.

And, it just doesn't really matter, as long as your pivot point is not absurdly far from the center of gravity...

Don't go away mad...
Don't even go away...
Just do the most basic investigation first, eh?

I see you have nearly 350 posts, so this is not your first rodeo. You know about searching the internet. Seems like it called for a minor, very small fracturing of the *********.

Please do not let my response discourage you from contributing.
