Back in an Olds!

Back in an Olds!
Happy to say I am back in an Oldsmobile after a brief hiatus and thought I would share the Cutlass I bought recently...
1970 Cutlass S
350 4BBL
Aspen Green
Bucket seats and console
Found this car locally on craigslist and was owned by a mechanic who spent a good deal getting everything sorted and back to stock specs. It's an honest rust free car with good bones. A/C blows ice cold and engine runs very strong. Makes all the right noises with a mild cam and is really just a lot of fun to drive!
Didn't set out looking for an aspen green car, but with the black roof and wheels it's grown on me and now I'm a fan. Some minor things need attention like the seats. At one time someone replaced the horizontal section of the seats with suede instead of the madrid grain vinyl (I plan to correct this). Also would like to get rid of the modern radios and replace back to stock. But otherwise the seller replaced all the suspension parts, sorted the A/C system, brake system, door panels etc. Also looking forward to getting some larger rubber on it and perhaps an OAI hood setup, but just enjoying the car as is for now...
Cheers,
Bill

Congrats on the purchase. Very nice car.
I was looking @ the pics for some time before it dawned on me what was missing.... it is the lack wheel well mouldings. Wonder what happened to them?

Dave - you are correct. It's missing the wheel well, trunk lid and side trim. They were probably removed during the repaint and not put back on? Couldn't hurt to get some replacements, but for some reason it doesn't bother me that they're not there. We'll see what I can gather over the winter...
