auto shift **** diameter

Looking for the diameter of the shift ball for my missing 1967 442 automatic. Decided to turn one up myself on a lathe. All I can come up with is the thread size which I already know is 5/16-18

The one I have is 1.850 in diameter
From the flat to the top is 1.70, the large counter bore is .750 to a depth of .950.
I cant get a good measurement on the depth of the smaller counter bore to the flat ,for the nut insert but it appears to be 1.40

Dang you answered more questions than I knew to ask. Thats very generous of you to even take pics. I am a machinist and would have to say from the dimensions you gave me you are one also. Thank you thank you thank you. Now off to the lathe.
