Does anyone know what happened to the Website Automotive-History -Preservation -Society , formely Wild about Cars. I just paid there membership and cannot log onto the site.

 

Honestly, I can't answer your question, but I can provide a very brief amount of knowledge and suggest my suspicions.

Currently, I cannot resolve (get to) the site. This is not surprising. WildAboutCarsOnline was an excellent site for many years - I was a member for numerous year. Unfortunately, they have experienced some serious issues with their website maintenance. Their librarian reached out to me ~1 year ago to assist (volunteer) in helping to address their issues. The site needs professional, dedicated paid assistance. I suspect the site is completely off-line - e.g. cannot be reached because they are rebuilding, updating, aligning, performing maintenance on the site during the holiday break period. I tried to PING the website and it is not even on-line. I tried to TRACERT to the site and the site cannot be resolved via DNS network lookup - i.e. it's dead, down, off-line.
