Can anyone tell me what this part is....getting old sucks and I can't remember where or what it came off of!

It is made for holding heater or Ac hoses

This is just a WAG - I can't see mine clearly, but is that the piece that holds the insulation tube for the + battery cable? Just a guess.

I don't recognize it as a '68 part...the clamp that goes around the battery cable tube is a full circle clamp screwed into another tab that fastens to the frame for autos and block for manuals...

Looks like it. I never saw anything like it on my 68 but I did not have a/c.
