I will pay you for gas and time if you can look at a car(OLDS) for me ..car located supposedly an hour from NYC..City is Mahopac,NY zip10541

You might point out that this city is an hour NORTH of New York. So someone living an hour SOUTH of New York is not terribly close to this.
A quick check of google maps shows this town is about 55 miles north-northeast of New York and only about 20 miles west of Danbury, Connecticut.
