The convertible I have was purchased by my Dad and I back in 79 when I was home on leave from Japan. It has had a long journey to being the car it is now. It went from Oregon to Virginia beach and back without even running. Dad has had a major stroke a few years back and has never been for a ride in the car. Yet he had it for over 27 years in his care. My goal this year is to take it to him and take him for a ride or two or three in it. He will never drive again but he sure would enjoy ridding in it.
If any of you are in the Virginia Beach area and know of a car show or two it would be great to have it in a show while we are there.

Any help any of you could give would be great!

Somebody has to be in the Virginia Beach area who can let me know of a car show or two in the June-July time frame?

 

I know there is a small one at Landstown Commons shopping center monthly throughout the summer, i dont know specific dates this far out though. Possibly one at the Va Beach Airport Military Aviation Museum as well, but nothing on their schedule either at this point. If I find out specifics I'll let you know.

Really I never found any big shows around here. Just little ones and some late night cruising with the imports. I thought there would be more honestly. If you come in town we can maybe get some of us locals together for a BBQ and cruise.
