Four speed with air conditioning is the first red flag.

Followed very quickly by power drum brakes and repro red inner fenders.

Yup . . . and no self-respecting W30 ragtop owner would put a spoiler on it.

...AND from power disc to power drum?

Fact: All AT W-30s came with disc brakes in 1970, period. All MT W-30s came with manual disc brakes EXCEPT for a handful of cars intended for racing that got the rare JL7 MANUAL drum brake option for reduced drag on the wheels.

Note that nowhere in there is a power drum brake option.

Everything about this car screams that it's a complete fabrication. Sorry, but without documentation, it isn't worth a fraction of the $130K asking price.

(And by the way, if you are going to ask that much money, could you at least bother to post photos of the engine compartment that are IN FOCUS????)

The seller has done enough due diligence to quote "1 of 96", yet doesn't explain non W-30 discrepancies with the car. Hopefully the next owner doesn't pay a W-30 premium, but rather, does pay for a loaded 442 convertible.
