Thumbs up Another New Guy PSL Florida

Bought a 70 Cutlass S good shape. After doing some work I’m having trouble with the temp light coming on when braking and it goes out when accelerating. Also comes on shifting park to reverse or drive and goes out when accelerating. Car doesn’t seem to be overheating. Changed to 2 core aluminum radiator, changed thermostat, fan clutch, water pump, hoses. New 50/50 coolant. Don’t know what to do next to resolve. Any ideas or similar problems? Help!

Sounds like an electrical glitch.
BUT...I'd never drive an old car without a temp gauge...they're like $30 for a cheapie 3 pack.(oil, temp, volts) It helps keep you off the shoulder.

I only run water with some water-wetter here in FLA.

Thanks for the quick reply, that is what I was thinking, an electrical problem.

X2 on an electrical issue if your sure it's not temp related.
