The Americans

I've been watching this show for a year now and the 2nd season has just started. It takes place during the 80's at the height of the Cold War.
I'm in heaven each time I watch it because of all the old cars in it.

Last night the main characters had Oldsmobiles, 70-72 Cutlass and an 80's Olds, and the car they were following was an 84 Toronado. GM seems to be represented a lot but the other big three are right there also.

The show is like a time machine much like Mad Men which takes place in the 60's and 1970 for the last season.

I did not see the whole show but did see the girl driving a nice light blue Omega and the guy pulled up behind her driving what looked to be a 70 442 Vert with 70 sport mirrors and the correct S 442 steel hood but it had supreme grills in it.

Shows with old cars are much easier on the eyes than most of television.

The original trailer for the first season showed a 76/77 cutlass in someone's driveway, obviously I was intrigued right away. Several Olds models have been shown. Kerry Russell is easy on the eyes also. The chick that looks like Siouxsie Sioux... not so much.
