Amazing Aution in Nebraska

Here is a link to an auction to be held at an ex Chevy dealer in Pierce, NE. There are no Olds here but there are some very cool cars. This guy has cars in a building and on his farm. Some "new" pickups with stickers still in the windows with trees grown up through the rotted wooden boxes. He had another building holding cars collapse several years ago and he scrapped them all. A really different sort of guy, he wouldn't sell any of these cars to locals. He did sell a few to an out of state buyer over the years. Everybody has stopped and peeked in the windows over the years but he refused to sell. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2...on/?refer=news

Looks like the 58 Cameo has some roof damage and broken windshield. See a Corvair in the background too.

It looks more like some kind of tarp or cover on the roof of that pickup...windshield has a big star crack in it though...interesting auction to attend...

Any of you guys ever been to one of her auctions? I've been to a couple and she sucks as a auctioneer! Although I have drug home some cars from some of the auctions.

"The entire collection of about 400 cars and trucks – along with the entire inventory of the dealership, which has reportedly not been touched since Lambrecht Chevrolet closed its doors 17 years ago and includes NOS parts, tools, and signage – will cross the block September 28 in Pierce. "

Of what year?

People need to remember to put a date on stuff, especially what with the interwebs now. "It's NEW" New, when? The new model of buggy whip?

Anyhow it sure would be nice to see those vehicles go to loving caring homes.
