Alternator builder needed

Looking for a recommendation for mechanical and cosmetic restoration of a 1970 internally regulated alternator. I’m looking for show quality. Thanks in advance for any you have had good success with .

Your location could be important...unless shipping is not a concern.

Ask for Rick. Ask about show quality and what you think that means.

Thanks, I’m in Massachusetts. I didn’t see were they are located.

Hopefully the plate fan and pulley? Two letter stamp?

585 area code...Rochester NY.
Rick is the guy with the big smile on his face, Tell him Steve sent ya. They do cosmetic. I do know a regular rebuild will come back looking OEM. You have to ask for the next level cosmetic upgrade. Ask him if he has pictures. The stamp prob not. Those are sourced on eBay.

I had my 68 Vette and 68 Olds starters and alternators rebuilt there. They came back looking OEM. They do very nice high quality work. And they stand behind it with USA sourced parts.

There are vendors out there that will do museum style rebuilds if thats what you want.
NCRS.org will have that info. The NCRS guys are nuts.

I can do it for you. What is the 2 letter code you are looking to use? I have some and may already have the one you want. I have some fans and pulleys that have already been plated. send me a pic and i will send return pic of fan and pulley, Mark 412 563 2100.

WE work with pro all the time, the owner is Greg, Rick just answers the phone. Greg will do a great job for you but, he does not restore to concours condition. 585 254 0130.. BUT I will guarantee it will be right when he is done.

It’s a code AY1100890 internal reg. Original to the car I’m getting. I will not have the car in my possession yet. Still a few weeks away. Winter not the best for hauling.

Ken is great.

He also fixed the broken ear on it. The thing that won Best in Class in Dayton was my alternator. The other car had a painted one.
