Hey guys question is, should my lower alternator bracket be black or painted same as motor? I’ve seen it both ways but I’d like to be as correct as possible also oil cap painted or not? Thanks for taking time to read this.

 

Nice work on the engine paint, Nick.

Accessory brackets were not on the engine when it received paint, so they would be black.

The engines had all closures in place before painting. So, following that line of reasoning, the oil filler cap would be engine color.
