AC System (Winter Project)
AC System (Winter Project)
My goal this year is to get my AC working in time for Summer. I'm sending my Expansion valve out to be restored. My question is what material do I use that looks original for wrapping the temp sender that is clamped to the refrigerant line that goes into the AC box on the fire wall. I looked in the Fusick book and couldn't find anything. Any help in steering me in the right direction would be great appreciated.
Greetings - Here's what you're looking for Cork/asphalt AC insulation tape, NapaTemp Part #: TEM 209491
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/TEM2...on+tape+209491
If you'd prefer to not deal with NAPA, at least you have a part number and description to use as the basis for more research.
If you end up buying the whole roll, let us know in case you want to sell your excess to others on here who might have the need.
Good luck!
