AC compressor shield

Would anyone recall which is the correct compressor shield used on the A6 compressors. I thought it looked like the one from ecklerschevelle site. Been a while since I have seen one.

Thanks, Joe

I don't know the answer to this, especially for 68 if that is what you are looking for. I just want to point out that the sites you listed and other sites that show this part vary in what year they are for. In the 1970 assembly manual it states that the shields were for the toronado's, I would make sure your car came with one before buying it. Hopefully a 68 person will chime in.

Thanks Steven, does not have to be specific to my car. You are correct the Toronado had them and I believe some of the 98's. Looking to keep the compressor oil off of the hood pad.

May have answered my own question. Found a photo of a Toronado online with the shield still in place. Forgot they sat on the side of the compressor. No good for oil, guess the other will have to do.

There were at least 2 different compressor shields, wish I had pics...however either shield works on the A6..
