Just recently bought a 94 cutlass supreme. 13,000 miles on it, great condition. It needs a new fuel sending unit. Gas gauge does not work. Anyone have any experience that would help? Am I going to have to buy a whole new gas tank? I know I'm going to have to drop the tank. Would love to keep it, from what I can see its in great shape.

 

Welcome to the site... If the tank is in good condition, you should be able to just change the fuel sending unit... Be cautious of rusted fuel lines, very common for these W-Body vehicles...
