78 delta 88 moonroof (astroroof?)
I have a 78 Holiday 88 with a moonroof. The glass is 22"×37". Did they have different sizes. Went to the salvage yard and I seen 2 other sizes (looked the same as mine but the size). Also anyone know where someone can get replacement glass and probably hardware by the time I'm done. Thank you in advance for Any help I can get for this restoration

It would seem unlikely that they would have different sizes, at least in the same model year. Those other ones you saw in the salvage yard, were they also 1978 Delta 88's?
I would guess replacement glass and associated hardware will have to come from a salvage car when you do find one. Certainly none of this is made new now.
I have a '78 Toronado with a moonroof, and while the glass and hardware are OK, I needed new weatherstripping, which is also not availalbe new. I ended up finding something aftermarket of about the same shape and gluing it in. You have to get creative sometimes.

Not sure what I'll be getting into it to see what else I can damage. I just have to take it slow and not break anything. That's what I'm up against on this restoration. I have the front and back off. Seats removed and all I've had for messed up screws or bolt were 3 on inter front fenders that I had to cut off. Luckily they were ones that went to a clip. Hope I don't break any off when I take the body bushing bolts out.
Thanks for a little insight on this. Much appreciated
