An unplanned and welcome addition to the family. Yes I know about the hood and the stripes, but I could not pass it up. Slightly built 455, 400 tranny, Hurst ratchet shifter, posi, don't know the gearing. Drivetrain has around 2000 miles. Just got it and tucked it away for the winter. I'll have to wait for spring to drive it. Radiator leaks, shifter cable needs to be replaced, and master leaks. Otherwise very good and very clean. Stablemates
Nice purchase. Looks like it will be fun. Like to know about your 66 Cutlass.

I got the 66 31 years ago. It's an all original Texas car, 330 jetaway on the column with buckets and a/c. But I was young when I got it and took the compressor off. The original radio is missing too.
I had a 240sx for 20 years but have been thinking about getting another Olds. A few months ago a guy gave me an offer, and I had seen the Olds four years ago that a guy had and he rarely drove it. So after I got the offer on the Nissan, I called the guy with the Cutlass and after some talking and a lot of thinking along with a few prayers I have another Olds.
Is this car originally a 455(Ucode), or an upgraded 350(K code) car. Looks like a very nice start to a minor project. Congrats
It's a K, but I'm not really worried about that, it's going to be not a daily driver but a drive a loter. Like several times a week, more if these dimwits get it together and put us back in the petroleum game.

Is color third and fourth digits? 57 Pretty sure it's a gold, maybe bronze?
Color is not on the vin. It is on the cowl tag. 3 inch by 2 inch piece of metal riveted to the upper firewall under the hood. Like this one. We can tell you what all the numbers mean on yours.
