72 olds cutlass supreme.
I just bought a 72 olds cutlass supreme 2 dr htp. The car was side swiped on the driver side and now I am in need of a drivers door. Any ideas of where I can get something. As far as I can tell they are obsolete including finding the skin by itself. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am located in Colorado.

Welcome Jay
Several users on here have parts for sale, I know they also have door skins available as coppercutlass reskinned his.
Post your location and a parts wanted ad for best results
and i have it on very good authority that the 72 supremes represent the cream of the crop !

Welcome to the site.
Absolutely it's worth saving. Very few 72 Cutlass models were built with the L75 RPO. You won't have problems finding the parts you are looking for. Plenty of guys here sell parts from dismantled cars. I remember back in the day that wasn't considered to be really bad body damage and it could be fixed by a body shop with a good tech and a BFH.

It still isn't considered real bad body damage - it's just that you're economically better off to just hang a different door on it. If this were a car like my 67 Delta where parts were not as easy to find, I'd fix that.

Check with your state DMV to see if the car needs to have the correct VIN decal on the door. When I brought my '71 to Arizona that was one of the items in the vehicle inspection. It had been hanging on by one corner for years and I had thought about removing it during the paint job - I'm glad I didn't!
