72 Cutlass S window regulator ques.

So the other day I was rolling down the driver window and it fell back into the door. Pulled ther regulator out and the roller split in half. Is there a replacement for these rollers for the front driver door on a 4 door or do you have to get a whole new regulator. I've looked around on the net and found a lot of quarter and rear rollers but nothing that looks like the front door roller. Pics below, Thx in advance for any insight.

I've seen brand new ones on ebay. I'm not sure what company makes them, pretty sure they're out there because the rollers on ebay are new and not NOS.

The rollers can be replaced. You will need to remove the regulator to repair.
Put the roller side into a socket on the ground and drive the stud out with a drift punch.
Installing is a little more cumbersome if it is a press fit but it can be carefully whacked with a hammer to set the stud. I have done it before. You might get two rollers in case you break it installing it.

no roller

I look at some dorman books I have today and didn't see any roller, if the roller pin is stacked like the ones on my hardtop u will need to drill it out are use a drimel tool with a cut off wheel and grind off some of the smash area on the pin to knock it out with out damaging the end of the regulator arm. I know scott winn would have a used one if u need to replace the regulator.
good luck ray

I found what looks to be the roller, search Google for "roller c1072". One listing had the length dimension as 11/16 which matches whats in the arm, and it looks right. The description for most of the listings come up as a Bel Air 50's-60's, late 60's Camero, or some that just say '58-'72 roller. A handful of parts stores came up with them. Should be here Monday. If it's not the right size/fit I'll try the threaded nut idea with the Dorman suggested by Ray. Thx guys, I'll update.

The part number is c1072. The post that comes with it looks smaller than whats on the arm, but after grinding off the back of the old post and pulling it out with pliers from the other side, the new post fits correctly. I used a wide tap punch to flatten the back side and then zapped it with a couple spot welds for good measure. Good as new back in the door.
