72 Cutlass S Hood louver

I am looking to replace my just for looks louvers with a vented louver. I have searched the internet looking for something the same dimensions as my louver (7w x 17.5L)
I do not want to have to enlarge the opening. I want something that is functional to lessen underhood heat. Does anyone here know of a vented louver that will work for my application, or know of any company that can make such a product ?

Check out the company TRACKSPEC. They've got several different hood vents for various vehicles and they have a "universal" set also.

Don't think I'm going to swap my hood out to get the rear vents in the hood. I have the S model with AC, so I just have the fake louvers.
Appreciate your reply

only I'm not crazy about Trackspecs louvers. Even with their universal models, modifications would have to be made to the hood
They do not offer the same dimension louvers. I like the size and style of the fake louvers, if they were vented that would be Great!
I've thought about removing the louvers and seeing if I can create openings between the louvers with a Dremel tool, without messing up my louvers.
I was hoping that someone would respond that has try'd that idea,

I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze. But, if you're bored, knock yaseff out.

I thought of that as an option.
As long as the price isn't crazy

Id buy a extra pair of the factory pieces, and modify with a Dremel or Bridgeport

If I screw up the louvers with the Dremel modification, I'll definitely buy a new set

These louvers are not reproduced. Finding a nice set is not impossible but your gonna pay for them.

Well, so much for that brilliant idea. I should have taken Fleming's advice early on. For some reason I was thinking the hood had an
opening under the louver. I found out today that it's more work than I thought.
At least I got my louvers polished up
