Picked this up...72 350 4bbl with a 2.73. Was sequoi green originally. Original motor tranny and rear. Runs...needs brakes and convertable top frame....and finally a car that needs NO body work
Thanks! Drive it like I stole it, sell it, use it for eye candy? No idea Adam...
.....I will post more pics .

Looks to be in very nice condition Ted, you are getting a nice collection I see. I hope you leave some nice finds for the rest of us here in Ontario LOL.
I'd just love to own one at some point in the near future.
Eric

Absolutely.
Cool. Do you also have the rest of the stainless trim for the car? I see it's missing little things like wheel opening moldings and rocker panel stainless. I don't think I'd put any of the body side moldings on it, but I'd be partial to putting some of the thin 442 stripes on the sides.
EDIT: are you keeping it as a J50 drum PB car, or are you going to change it to J52 PDB?

805 cars
Nice score.
You GM docs show 805 Cutlass Supreme rag tops imported to Canada in 1972. That leaves 104 BBO cars. A friend in Calgary owns one of the 104 455 cars. I wonder how many of the 104 were V code or X code cars?

Ted,
Nice picture of "our" car!
Dave, your X code convertible total # imported into Canada is 30.
I have documents from GM Canada Vintage Vehicle Services that states that total.
34267 (Cutlass Supreme) - 805 (30 with L/77)
I also have documents from GM Canada VVS that state in the 33687 (Cutlass S) body style:
8 150 were imported into Canada. (same model no.)
128 of those cars had the L/77 engine (W30)
105 of them had the M/20. (stick)
Therefore, that leaves 23 M/40 (auto) cars.
Cheers,
Sam

Were any of the 19 X code Cutlass hardtops without the S option or any of the HOs with the L-77 engine sold in Canada?

I don't get it. The pic appears like it's from down under in the main frame. I clik on it and it's still upside down. I clik on it again and it turns right side up? Is this something novel to CO or are you posting from your iPhone?
BTW, the color looks amazing in the sun!

Top installed...
This car came without a top frame. I took one out of another car I had and sent it off to a pro to install.....came out looking pretty good and it works....bonus
........and pic is upside down again....aaaargh!

Not unless I rob them off my 72... Yikes. Best deal I can see for repops is Tamraz for 268.00
Have you checked with Scott or Eric to see if they have some decent ones? Does the GTA have any swap meets coming up that you could check?
I know the rockers aren't repopped so they have to come specifically from any 70-72 coupe.
Have you checked any of these guys on kijiji?
