Exclamation 71 Rochester needed #7041250

I hope some one can help me out. I am returning the top end of my 350 back to original. I am in need of a rebuilt Rochester Q jet # 7041250 ASM Code NC. I am running an Edelbrock Thunder series 1806 right now and would be willing to offer towards Qjet purchase about 2500 road miles. The car is a 1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible, model built Aug 1971. She is running a #'s matching
350 5.7L 4 BBL, Auto trans / A/C. Intake manifold # 410446-B with 176 date stamp.
If any one can help me out that would be great, I can pay via paypal.

if it's a 72 Supreme, you need a 72 carb, not a 71. you need a 7042250. if you put a 71 carb on there and tell people "it's all numbers matching" people are going to ask "why do you have a 71 carb on a 72 engine".

I can check and might have one as I play with some '72s. If you are in a hurry, I doubt I can look anytime real soon as I am laid up from back surgery. One or some of guys here will have it. And if you real technical, we will need your build time. The carbs. are dated. Don't take this the wrong way, but most people only look for the correct carb. number and many don't even understand the dating system . I would say if you found one with a wrong date---take it anyway. There plenty of GOOD parts guys here that will tell you the truth and sell you the right part. Again, I might have one, but it could be weeks before I could even look. Good luck!
