does anyone have the correct color code for a green stripe on 71 442?
I have seen green codes in the assembly manual, but paint code does not cross over to anything the mixer has in their database.
Factory stripe color is green, over top of Lime Green code 43.....
Would it be safe to assume the Antique Green code 49 would have been used as stripe color?

Nope. The stripe colors were not the same as the body paint colors. The 1971 green stripe paint used PPG code 44383 and RM code 171B33. TCP Global claims that they can mix it.

 

I do not know about '71 but for 70 the blue stripe is not a color any car body was painted. So the '71 green may be unique for the stripe as well. That 71 lime green is by far my favorite color, not sure I have ever seen a lime green car with green stripes, would love to see a pic.

Spoke to TCP this afternoon, and they did not have a formula for the codes listed, but offered to do some research thru their database. I am keeping fingers crossed!
After the car gets painted, we will share some photos.

good luck, I'll bet what ever color you pick will be close enough. And I definitely want to see pics. I'm leaning towards painting my 72 either the Sunfire Yellow it should be or safflower yellow from what '69 I think, but if not then '71 Lime green it will be.

 

BTW what color is the interior DK Green?
