I got the trunk mat and flapper door from the Parts Place. This is the first time I have ordered from them since 2003. The flapper door fits the original OAI top perfect but it has a bad bow in the middle of it. I got it and the trunk mat installed tonight. The trunk mat is ok but they are sure not like originals. After installing the tire I realized I didn't even clean it. I need to take it back out and clean it up a little better.

Will you be at MCACN again this year? If so I will be in the barn find section with the 4 speed Jetfire. If I remember right, I was getting pulled away last year when we were talking.

I would love too really enjoyed last year. I would like to see your Jetfire, and a couple of others.
Yes, you were pretty busy, as would be expected. No biggie on my end, I appreciated the time you did have to talk.

This car had two new BFG 245 60 14 tires on it and don't match the good used front tires. I ordered two more BFG so it can have a matching set. Mismatched tires are a pet peeve of mine. Even thought I will be selling it I just can't stand it.
Took it for another drive today. I miss driving these cars on a regular basis like I did in high school.

I keep forgetting about the idler arm. It was slightly loose but could not tell when driving. I had a nice tight used one and swapped it out tonight while I was thinking about it. I don't think I will notice but I will take it for another drive and see. I will use anything as a excuse to take it for a drive

I got the new tires installed and got the tow adjusted. I took it out on I-70 yesterday for 50 miles and it does great. It was around 28 degrees out and the heater was keeping it nice and warm. I always thought that convertibles would be bad in the winter but I must have been wrong.
I decided to pull the radiator out and get it re-cored. With the bad heater core I replaced I thought the radiator was likely bad. After pulling it out I am glad I did. It was not long for this world. I am glad I looked at it because I will be selling the car and would have hated it to go out on someone right after selling it. It was the original radiator so I had it recored instead of replacing it. Was only $370 with a nice USA made core. (Kenny's Radiator Indianapolis Indiana)
Was going to list it on eBay this weekend but decided to hold off a little longer. If it will work out I am still hoping to drive it some this Spring before letting it go.
