Welcome to the zoo.
You need to buy a ‘70 Oldsmobile Shop Manual, available on EBay, this manual has almost all the info on your car, including ac/HVAC diagrams, etc..

I have a 69 and the controls are all vacuum operated, ie it the same on a 70? I know it switched but not sure what year. The Chassis Service Manual is the one to get.

Here's this to get you going while you pursue a copy of the assembly manual.

Hey fellas. My assembly manual finally came..Cool!.. So much stuff I needed to know. However after looking at my heater/ ac control under the dash I noticed that I have no vacuum lines at all ? Anyone know where I might be able to purchase these.

My situation was similar, I had lines but no vacuum canister, no ductwork, and all lines were disconnected. OPGI shows a vacuum hose kit, all color coded, but I cant tell if it is for heater/AC controls or not. You should give them a call at 800-243-8355

Ames Pontiac (believe it or not) is a good source for the vacuum lines. They sell them by the foot and they are color coded just like the factory ones.
