70-Carb dashpot and bracket Source

Looking for a 70 350 4 barrel dashpot and bracket...used or new (does a parts house or resto parts supplier have them, have not found one yet??) or used...not looking for NOS or a perfect part, just would like to replace mine that is missing, if the cost is reasonable.

Thanks

If you do look for a used one, it might help to know that every 1970 Olds with a dashpot used the same dashpot and bracket, whether 350 or 455. Make sure you also grab the bolt and nut which attach it to the manifold. It wouldn't surprise me if other nearby years used the same parts.

Should my '71 have this dashpot? I've seen them on '69 and '70 models and my manifold has threaded holes for one but there's nothing there. The assembly manual makes no mention of it but my 1971 Service Manual has adjustment procedures for one.

No repros exist that I know of. I have searched for them many times before.
The 72's use them, also in certain builds, so they just might be the same part.
I would need to dig out the parts book and find out.

I agree they appear to be the same part for many years. Probably an easy junkyard score back in the day as practically every GM had one but finding a yard today with anything older than a 2000 model year is next to impossible. What's worse is my bracket is gone also!!
