I found a guy who has a power window set up from a 1970 monte carlo for sale. Would that be correct to put into my 72 cutlass? Do the power window buttons between 70 and 72 differ? Thanks

I don't remember if the 1970 had rounded or square corners on the switches. The 1972 should be squared corners. But changing switches is easy, I've got a box full of power window and power lock switches. John

I am the member in question. I used the 72 Monte Carlo power windows in my 70 Cutlass convertible. I used the squared switches from the 72. The correct 70 switches are rounded. They look a little different but fit and function the same.

If your your switches are in good shape and you want the correct 72 style I would be willing to swap mine for the correct 70 style. If your switches are rough I may have a second set correct for 72 to sell.
