Unhappy 70 - 72 A body front seat mounting

Easy question - does the 70 - 72 have more than one set of attach points for the front seats? I recently test drove a 70 and don't remember being that close to the steering wheel back when I had a 72....:

I'm sure all those cheeseburgers have nothing to do with it, so don't go there....please.

Did you make sure the seat adjuster, was letting the seat go all the way back?

I assume due to the lack of confirmation, the answer is no. I seem to recall that dual seat mounting locations were available on my 68 Delta 88. I was hoping for the same.

Only one set of holes on my 71 Cutlass vert. . Is your car a bench? My bench was too close and I made up some plates out of 1/4" plate and bolted them to floor with holes 2" apart. Then bolted seat to them. Works great, though I have to remember to bring seat a little forward if someone gets in back because with seat all the way back now there isn't even enough room to get a adult's feet behind seat!

Thanks Greg, the car has buckets. I will look into a set of adapter plates if needed.
