Hey guys.... im searching for a 70 trunk lid for my 442 resto and wasnt aware there were differences in the 70 lids as opposed to the 71 and newer. Luckly a good friend opened my eyes to those differences so I purchase the correct one, however, without actually seeing the differences in pictures, im still slightly confused. The 70 lid seems to have a more rounded area at the top without the two 2 inch holes in those rounded areas? Does anyone have pictures of a 70 lid verses the 71-72 lid so I am 100% on what I am looking at? Thanks!

 

Here is an entire thread on it. This is for hard top lids. There are two different one for 70. Looks like the change was late May 1970 and then the 3rd style was 71-72
