70 442 Convertible on Copart

Cannot post the link. ‘70 442 convertible on Copart - blue with white stripes. LOOKS like it might be unmolested.

Thanks vCode. They cleaned it up apparently for auction. There were previous pictures up this morning of the car outside with lots of dirt and grime.

It looks pretty nice, hard to see any indications of an interior fire

Harry, there’s online bidding, and then it runs lane ‘A’ in Indianapolis 10 AM Eastern tomorrow. Vehicles sold on Copart are “as is, where is”, somewhat of a broker for Manheim and other scheduled auto auctions. Absolutely buyer beware, due diligence/ inspection is a must. Interesting car, seems to be legit AC conv 4-4-2, looks like something melted along the driver side footwell but hard to tell in those photos. Only described as ‘burn-interior’. Love to know more about it, maybe someone’s in Indy with nothing to do tomorrow

Tom,

I have tried enlarging the photograph's unsuccessfully. The car has power windows, factory air, dual gate, factory eight track and the W25 hood. I can't see the decklid stripes, if any. The car looks twilghtblue, black convertible top and blue interior. No trim tag displayed, nor any vin derivatives on the transmission or engine. The car is a 34467 car from Linden, NJ
