70 442 acquisition

My buddy is driving this back from mid Michigan today, buying it from his nephew, who unfortunately is getting a divorce. This was owned by a good friend of ours for about 15 years (lives down the street from me). It runs good, has original drive train, 4spd 3.42 rear. It will need every exterior panel replaced including the roof. It was offered to me, before my buds nephew bought it about 2010 but I already have a project car.

The guy that bought it about 15 years ago, did some really poor body work on it, a bit of mud and bad metal, the roof has a lot of rust under the vinyl top, which doesn't show in the pics. I drove it about 8-9 years ago, and a 455 and a 4spd are a blast. The new owner called me a couple of hours ago, and said that he made the trip, about 160 miles, with no issues, and was surprised how well that it drove, he has a nice '68 442, and said this one has a bit more of a solid feel to it.
