69 Toronado
You can't. The 1969 VIN shows GM division, series, bodystyle, year of manufacture, assembly plant and sequential VIN. Nothing else.
What exactly about this car supposedly makes it different than thousands of other 69 Toronados?
I ask because I own a 69 W-Toro. Not to disillusion you, but I've heard most all the stories and assorted BS about them, and the vast majority are BS.

69 tORONADO
THANKS ROCKETRAIDER, I do not believe mine to be any more rare than any other. The seller said that some guy from an Olds club told him that the color scheme and pinstripes along with the vinly roof made it one of three known Toronados. As the ole horse trader that I am, I rarely believe a salesman but I do want to check out the car. I bought the car because I simply like it. I appreciate the info about the vin information. How do I brake it down? Thanks, srpastoralma
The key word in that sentence that made him a truth teller and not a liar is "KOWN". Probably known within his local club or somehting like that. Good attitude to have about that stuff, horse trading can be difficult. I say, as long as you like it and accept those claims with a grain of salt, you are doing ok. Welcome to our site.
