looking to solve my morning /cold trans start up . when the trans is cold ,it takes several miles to warm up and finally shift into second gear ,after that first shift it runs great ,changed the filter ,no difference,any clues

 

Make sure it's full with the engine running and completely warmed up. Check your vacuum line to the modulator and verify that the modulator is not leaking fluid. Normally this problem is from a leaking rubber hose or a bad modulator.

 

thanks i try that ,fluid is full ,did find the hose on the top loose before ,clamped in down . but going to check the rest of the line /tubing going to the modulator
