69 G block, heads, intake value
69 G block, heads, intake value
Hey Guys, I pulled a 400 out of a 69 Vista Cruiser years ago, its a:
G block, date code 355
C heads, date code 133, 133,
J intake, date code 300
1111933 distributor, date code 9A16
7029251 carb (missing choke assembly)
No water pump or exhaust manifolds, but I do have pulleys, power steering pump brackets and alternator brackets, so on the most part its complete. I have not had the heads off, was told it ran but didn't hear it. I'm not going to ever do anything with it, time to get rid of it. Like to sale locally (Washington State), any idea what I should ask for it? I also have a 69 442 air cleaner.
Thank you.

Not worth too much unless somebody's restoring a '68-9 4-4-2, and even then if their original block is missing they'd be just as likely to go 455. G-blocks aren't too desirable. I'd try selling the whole thing as a package, maybe starting around $500 or so and entertaining offers. If you want to sell locally, try a Washington state trader rag or put an ad here in the CO classified stipulating local sales only.
The air cleaner is probably worth a buck or two and should be sold separately.
