69 cutlass convertible boot install

I have a 1969 Cutlass S convertible. I bought my convertible top from convertibletopguys.com. I need to buy the boot now and they have two to choose from. They told me one boot comes with a slider attachment, the other just has clips. How do I tell which type of boot mine needs? The rear side of my cars back seat has a channel that runs the length of the back seat. Is this for the slider?

My 69 S has the rear channel like you mentioned. My boot slides into the channel from either side and the boot has plastic tabs that slide under the pinch weld(?) stainless on the outside of the well. There's two snaps on each side to connect above the rear arm rests.

My 1969 also uses the sliders under the pinch weld. No clips.

my 69 has the rear seat top slider, and clear plastic tabs that slip under the chrome rail on the outside ... and I have never tried to remove the slider part whereas mine seems jammed in tight, which is ok with me +-
