Uh I'm going to need a positive ID to the tag "possibly" is a little ambiguous. I think it is but I need a expert opinion.

i'm sorry you are right, my answer is ambiguous, how I look at parts has changed somewhat... yes it has everything it should have for a w-30 does the rivet looked tampered with?...does the tag appear to be 40+ years old check the edges...do the numbers match...tags can be bought off ebay and so can the rivets and so can the stamps...from here tag looks straight

Joe on this type of tag there are no letters to identify this trans other than whats stamped in the metal tag.

I make and sell this style and I have seen this on a few W cars.

I found this pic while making the WOG decal for the 67 W-30 and wanted a little clarification from people that own them.
So I guess I can market these decal to a broader audience.

Hey don't worry they won't fit your car.
I have a new tag for you coming out soon.

Very nice are they made of aluminum like the original?

The problem I have with number matching trans is when they are rebuilt there no longer original anyway

I only make the decal to restore the appearance of the trans tag. I do not get involved in making and stamping a metal tag.
