68 Quadrajet on a 67 330?

Harder to find 67 quadrajet cores...Am looking at a 68 Quadrajet with a straight inlet vs my 67 which the fuel filter inlet curves slightly to the left...Has anyone done this conversion? I have a rubber hose ( 3 inches ) from filter to metal line ) Will this 68 fit my 67 ....
And any tips, points, and helpful info is appreciated ...like linkage issues....does it hook up th same .. my model number is a 7027036....( 68 inlet comes out the front )

The 68 version inlet will come out the front...will my rubber hose fit?

You should not be using rubber hose on the pressure side of the pump, although many people do. I THINK I have some service replacement 67 cores. 7026157 I think the number is, though it is stamped, not in the tag.

Toys is a late 70's Quadrajet. Muds hoping to find a 67 core.
I have several 66's, 68 and newer. Just don't have a 67 right now.

carb

I have both a 7027156 and a 7027157 Quadrajet. Both rebuilt, throttle shafts done, epoxied. They are 67 442 carb's. One is for an automatic and the other is a four speed carb. Both ran well on a 400E motor.
