68 Cutlass/442 A/C Evaporator case/Heater box

I'd like to correct one of the major mistakes I made with my car, which was to discard the factory A/C and heat unit. Would anyone know if those pieces interchange with any of the other A-body cars? Thanks for any help.

Likely 68 Buick and Pontiac as they commonly share many parts but can't confirm without knowing the numbers and having one side-by-side to confirm
There are several people who have yards/barns full of Olds parts in the classified section here. I'm sure you can find one. Keep in mind 68 GM A bodies are a one-year wonder for many items. There might be subtle differences compared to 69-72 evep boxes.

I know Scott Winn has a few. I almost bought one for my 71 El Camino project before I leaned Chevy A body inside heater cases are different.

you might want to look into a vintage air unit, unless you are going for the factory look

My ***-umption was that OP went aftermarket and now wants to go back to factory.

My intent was to go aftermarket and that may still happen, but I've come to realize that I may need or just want to sell the car at some point. I have everything else original to the car minus the engine rotating assembly so I thought I should try to find the HVAC parts that I foolishly ditched years ago. Thanks again for your thoughts.
