68 2dr Cutlass Sail Panel - Tuck Behind Windlace?

I've got my sail panels recovered w/ the fabric wrapped around behind the sail panel. Now, looking at how they attach, I see that the light will hold them somewhat, but that the edges that border the rear glass and the rear side glass must tuck behind the windlace? The windlace is already pretty snug to get on the metal trim, do I want to attach the sailpanel, and then install the windlace? Or install the windlace, and wedge the sailpanel under the windlace while it is in place?

Thanks.

OK,

This is a different car (last picture in the link below), but it looks like the front and rear edges of the sail panel should have the fabric left loose, then wrapped around the windlace trim? Then the windlace slips over the fabric wrapped around the channel, not over the sail panel board itself? Does this sound right?

that 2nd post is correct.
the fabric at the front and rear should be long enough to wrap around the channel.
good luck!
