67 F85 2-door post

My son's 67 F85 two door post has a chrome trim along the outside top of the door where the window fuzzy attaches. He wants to eliminate the chrome but it appears the window would be so far from the door that a fuzzy wouldn't fill the gap. Is there a plain steel trim that replaces the chrome that would have the fuzzy attached to it? Or is something else supposed to be used?

The fuzzies should fill the gap properly. The bodies/gap were all the same wether the optional chrome trim was opted for or not.
