67 442 quarter emblems

Hello---is there any way outside of completely removing the quarters to replace the 442 emblems on a 67? Thank you in advance for your reply.

I presume by "quarters", you mean front fenders?

Sometimes you can pry them off. Double sided tape or trim adhesive to reattach.

Remove the lower fender heel bolts, also remove a lot of the inner fender well bolts. That will provide enough clearance to slip your hand in to access the nuts on your emblem.

GM did not use double sided tape back then. They used studs cast into the emblem, going through a hole punched in the body panel, and secured with a stamped steel nut on the inside.
