66-67 heater core.

Looking to replace the one in my 442 and am wanting copper-brass construction.
Has anyone tried this unit from Rock Auto? It seems to be a stock photo for ALL the ones I have been looking at.
Any feedback on where to find what I'm looking for is welcomed. It is an A/C car as well. Thanks fellas.

I would use it. So many aftermarket ones are Alum, hard to find a copper one. Is your old one good shape just needy repair, I would repair it, that is what I did.

Thanks Harv. I haven't pulled it yet. I have a few things to do to it. I found a leak on the carpet so I went around it with the hoses and am going to pull the engine and replace the freeze plugs with brass. I found one leaking. It will be a good time for a torque converter change out. I hate the stock one I got with my rebuilt 350. Going with a Hughes 2500 stall GM25 BPO. Fortunately, I found a low mile used one for $100.

Well I went ahead and ordered the H/C, I have the F/P's and am waiting on the T/C.
If it ever cools off down here I will have my work cut out for me.

It's been like this all the month of Aug. and so far in Sept. too. Monday it's supposed to cool off to the mid to high 90's.

The one with the black and other red cap appears to me to be correct. I have found that when heater box comes out from under the dash the firewall gasket/blanket usually falls apart. And since AC cloth ducting must come out as well it might be wise to replace that as well. It dry rots. Lastly mice love to make nests in these areas.
