63 Cutlass handwritten option sheet found...
So today I removed the rear seat and the back cushion on my newly acquired 63 Cutlass coupe and found a strange handwritten 5"x16" sheet of paper folded in between the seat springs of the cushion. About 6" down from the top is the number 981 below that 3117 a dash then 955 the trim code, it's on the cowl tag also. The next line down is A37 - C60 then the next line D55 - M35 and finally U80 all handwritten in ink.
The A37 is front belts, C60 is AC, M35 Automatic Trans, U80 rear speaker. D55 the console. My Cutlass does have all 5 of these options. Is this some kind of broadcast card so to speak? I've never heard of or seen this style of handwritten document. It's serrated at the top. Is this what was used on the Olds 61 to 63 Y bodies?
