It comes down to condition 4 doors are rare but will almost always be worth less to a collector. You need to go and see it if the floors trunk and roof have lots of rust would not be worth it. From what I have seen they are love vehicles folks poor there love in to them knowing they will never see their investment in the car back. But go check it out your gut will tell you what to do.

The car is a barn find and is solid.Everything is there.Even the high beam indicator on the dash(IThink that what it is).
I thought it would be a good addition to my little collection-

There were actually three 4-door 98's in 1962, the Town Sedan, the Holiday Sedan, and the Holiday Sport Sedan. The latter two were hardtops, I believe, while the first one had center pillars.
Production of each:
Town Sedan: 12,167
Holiday Sedan: 7,653
Holiday Sport Sedan: 33,095
Production of the other two 98 styles that year was 7,546 for the Holiday Sport Coupe and 3,693 for the convertible.
So, as far as production of the 98 for 1962, 4-doors outnumbered 2-doors by quite a bit. But as to how many remain today, as cutlass455 says, 2-door styles are much more popular with collectors, so whenever you find a '62 98 today, it's more likely to be a coupe or convertible.
About 1%, speaking very average here, of a typical vehicle's production still exists after 25 years. After that, it tends to level out. Of the roughly 53,000 4-door 98s made in 1962, figure maybe 500 are still around? Give or take a few hundred?
