61 Dynamic 88 dash

Can anyone tell me if the 61 Dynamic 88 has a full padded top dash or partial padded or covered top dash. I had taken this car apart 15 years ago and just now getting back to it. I cant remember how the pad looked. I do have the metal spine that is attached to the front of the dash as it curves around to the front. Pics would be helpful too

Here is a pic. https://www.oldcars.site/wp-content/...8-interior.jpg

Looks like a partial to me? I know it is partial in 62, and was partial in 1960.

The instrument panel was NOT padded in the base price of the 1961 Dynamic 88. It was standard equipment on the Super 88 and Ninety Eight models but it was optional in the Dynamic. You could get it by itself by ordering option K3 Safety Padded Instrument Panel (with extended cover) for $12.91 or as part of the option K5 Custom Luxury Trim Option for $38.74. The latter was just the Super 88 interior in a Dynamic 88.

While not the best of pics, this photo does show what I recollect to be the area for a standard padded dash in 1961. It is the portion that appears to be white after the cover was removed.

Is the offer to help with re-doing a dash pad still on? I'm doing my 61 88 super and having a hard time figuring out what to use for the padding or where to apply it. I had to remove the whole thing because it was rotting and disintegrated when I took the vinyl off.
Never mind. Just found the other part of a post explaining it.
