55 tail lights

What's the diff in 55 and 56 tail lights?

Difference in tai lights

From different cars. Even the 55 model 88 and 98 have different tail lights. Plenty of pictures available on line if you google each year.

54 and 55 use the same quarterpanels and taillights are more alike than either is to 56. The 56 q/p is more angled at tail edge than 54-55. A 1956 Ninety Eight taillight is plumb sexy.

The lens from a '55 "98" can be used on an "88" but they are longer and have chrome trim that the "88" don't have. Larry
