And you probably won't find a finished one in a retail establishment. Is yours rebuild able?I know I paid about $3500 for all the chrome work on my 55 (front back and odd and end parts) and that was quite a few years ago but it was in California. Just a WAG but I bet it would be over to a grand for the front bumper only depending on condition of the core and where you live.... Tedd

The last chrome plating I had done was about 3 years ago. It was two headlight rims and it was $220. According to the guy at the chrome shop the price of nickel has really gone up. Of course they have to contend with the EPA.

The EPA for sure. That's why many chrome pieces are sent south of the border.They don't pay less for the nickle just less for their government.... Tedd
