455 Alternator bracket/brackets

I've recently done a swap from a sbo 350 (1969) to a 455 (1975). I have an inch or so between the power steering bracket, and the lower alternator bracket. I know the bbo has a deck height that is an inch higher. Does anyone know if the brackets are interchangeable? Do I need a spacer, or a big block bracket? This swap is in a 1979 cutlass. I will attach a photo of my dilemma. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes, simply fabricate a spacer and use a longer bolt. Instead of spending money on new brackets, save it to replace those J heads.
