442 Spoiler question

IS this a factory spoiler? Ive never had one, and i think this is...is there year specific?....the pedistals say passenger and drivers inside..and it has studs...GTO spoilers have studs...
you can tell aftermarket GTOs because they have nutserts and you use a bolt..whatta ya think is it a GM piece?

Its been DA'd and primed but was blue i can see traces...it kinda wipped out some details,...but im just not sure....thanks.....

The replicas's Ive seen are always soft in the middle (give a squeeze). They also come with a thin gasket-(Black) where the spoiler attaches to the ouside on trunk on both sides. Which the originals do not have. Mine on my 69 is original and at the moment off my car while its being painted. I know the 69 and 70 Olds spoiler is the same. I would imagine so is the 71-72. I'll get back to you on what I see on mine in a day or so.

Oldzzy-All repro's dont have them and it will fit but thats a dead giveaway of a replica spolier was the point. The originals did not have them. You can seal the drilled holes with silicone as well.

I have an old repo spoiler and it never came with any gaskets, and seems to fit pretty well to the trunk lid.

$50 for a good repop wing is still a very good price!

Here's a view into the base of a factory spoiler removed from a dead Rallye 350. You can see the hole for a middle stud that's not installed at the moment. John
